Is Lady Gaga ready to bring some madness to Miami? In an interview with E! Online, “CSI: Miami” star Eva La Rue suggested that the “Bad Romance” singer is very much interested in jumping on board the program:
“The rumor’s been that Lady Gaga wants to do the show really bad. I don’t know if we’re going to get her or not, but it would be awesome!
“She doesn’t want to play herself from what I understand. “She wants to be a character.”
If this happened, Gaga would not be the first major singing star to snag a role in the CBS crime-solving franchise. Justin Bieber is playing a part on the original version of the show for the premiere, and Taylor Swift also performed a spot in the past.
If this move happened, it would certainly lead to both more credibility for Gaga as an artist and ratings for the network — who knows what sort of originality the singer could bring to a procedural crime drama?
