Justin Bieber has won the hearts of millions of young girls with his love-sick lyrics and melodic beats, but in his new song ‘Pray’ Justin sings about the deeper things in life. The song is about Justin’s desire to help those who are suffering in the world, and his hope that one day starvation, poverty, and war will get better.
“I can’t sleep tonight, knowing that things ain’t right. It’s in the papers, it’s on the tv, it’s everywhere that I go. Children are crying, soldiers are dying, some people don’t have a home,” the 16-year-old pop sensation sings.
The song is more mature than anything the Biebs has released before. Not only does he sound amazing, but he’s bringing public attention and hope to some the greatest social issues that people face today.
He croons, “I know there’s good times behind that pain, can you tell me how I can make a change?”
Hopefully his soulful lyrics will inspire his fans and other celebrities to help out the less fortunate as well.
Note: I haven’t listened to the full version of the song because it’s a leak and Justin posted on his Twitter “We work hard. Be patient. Don’t ruin it.” So it’s obvious that Justin doesn’t want us, as fans, to listen to the song before the album releases. I can’t make the decision for you but I highly recommend to wait until the album releases. It’ll definitely be worth the wait and make you feel happier to hear it because it was anticipated and you waited for it.
