MANILA, Philippines — The Grammy Awards nomination special is expected to get a groovy shakeup as pop stars Katy Perry and Justin Bieber join the fray with their respective performances.
The one-hour special “Grammy Awards Concert Live! — — Countdown To Music’s Biggest Night,” to be held in Los Angeles, California and aired on CBS on December 1, will be hosted by two-time Grammy-winner rapper LL Cool J and will announce the artists who will vie for various awards spread over a number of categories.
Aside from Perry and Bieber, rapper B.o.B and country singer Miranda Lambert will also perform in the said event. Other acts to grace the festivities will be announced soon.
The actual awarding ceremonies — the 53rd Annual Grammy Awards — will be held on February 13 at the Staples Center, which will also air live at CBS the same day.
