Eminem, Lady Gaga, Arcade Fire, Miranda Lambert, Cee Lo Green and Katy Perry will perform at the 2011 53rd annual Grammy Awards ceremony on February 13, announced Thursday, January 13 — and reported by Billboard. Most recently announced performances include Justin Bieber, Bruno Mars, and Lady Antebellum.
Eminem, with 11 awards already under him and the lead with 10 award nominations, is a frequent Grammy performer. He performed as recently as last year at the ceremony alongside Drake and Lil Wayne.
This will be the second consecutive year Lady Gaga performs, after the pop star made an indelible debut at the 2010 ceremony with an opening duet accompanied by Elton John. Nominated for album of the year for “The Fame Monster,” Gaga is expected to perform and debut her forthcoming album’s lead single “Born This Way,” coinciding with the release of the single on that day, Febrary 13.
Arcade Fire and Miranda Lambert will make their Grammy debuts as performers, and are both nominated in lead categories, with Arcade Fire’s “The Suburbs” up for Album of the Year and Miranda Lambert’s “The House That Built Me” up for Song of the Year.
Cee Lo Green, up for four awards including Record of the Year and Song of the Year, and Katy Perry, up for Album of the Year, will both be recurrent Grammy performers.
Bieber, who is also nominated for Best New Artist, is to perform with his pop mentor Usher, and “Karate Kid” star Jaden Smith, whom he collaborated with on the single “Never Say Never.”
