Let’s stipulate that Tom Brady [stats] could sit on Justin Bieber and crush the puny little pop puppy like a bug. So no wonder 12 was downright amazed yesterday when our man in Foxboro informed him that The Bieb was ripping his hairdo in a new video!
“Wow,” Brady replied when Herald sports god Ian Rapoport told him about the dis. “Really? Wow. You know, I’ve never listened to his music.”
Come on, Tom. You expect us to believe you’re not singing “Baby, baby, baby — Oh!” to Gi every night???
Anyway, Bieber has a new video called “Speaking In Tongues,” which is some kind of effort to get rap cred. In it, Justin rhymes: “Call up Mr. Brady. Tell him to leave his hair to that guy that sings ‘Baby.’ ,”
And while he’s singing that line, The Bieb is pretending to throw a football. Which, you know, is just so wrong . . …..
Maybe Justin’s jealous that Tom’s hairdo is getting more attention than his. And after all, he has the patent on it.
For his part, Brady defends his shaggy-chic look, which, he has said, his supermodel spouse refuses to let him cut. Yesterday, he opined that he didn’t really think he looked that much like Bieber — then threw one of his wide receivers under the bus!
“Julian looks more like Justin Bieber anyway,” Tom joked to Ian.
To which, Edelman replied: “Hey, I’m growing a beard . . ….”
