News that Bieber did indeed skip the finals after receiving news that Gomez had been hospitalized for a severe headache and nausea, shortly after her appearance on <em>The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.</em> Ironically, it was on the Jay Leno show where Gomez had briefly dished about her mom meeting Bieber, saying "he passed the test."</p><p>And Bieber proved her right, showing he was every bit the good boyfriend who could pass the "Mom test," by staying out of the spotlight on Friday night, most likely to support Gomez. After all, Justin Bieber is smart enough to know it might look a bit strange for him to be out having fun at a hockey game while Selena Gomez is in the hospital. Plus, he probably didn't want to answer a plethora of paparazzi questions about his girlfriend's well-being.</p><p><img height="214" width="191" src="http://www.theteenforum.com/pics/Selena-Gomez-Justin-Bieber.jpg"/>Bieber did post a short and sweet Twitter message: "Get well Selena." However, there were probably a lot more personal calls and texts to Selena Gomez that were off the radar.
