As I'm sure you're all aware, Justin Bieber has been hit with a paternity lawsuit by a 20-year-old claiming he's the father of her son. As you know, something like this is a pure gold mine for the late night comics. And Jimmy Fallon took it on with full force last night by doing a parody of Bieber's hit "Baby," but changing the lyrics to fit this big news story as "(It's Not My) Baby."

I found it hilarious! Jimmy does a good Bieber parody. To the die-hards, I hope you find the video to be funny as well because it's only done for fun, and there's nothing in that performance that is critical at all of Justin himself. Jimmy is basically just making light of the situation.

Justin continues his media tour to promote Under The Mistletoe today (November 1) when he appears on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Dancing with the Stars, and Chelsea Lately. Head over to Bieber Guy's TV Appearances page for specific times and channels.
Well, this is the second time during this first season of The X Factor USA that a contestant has performed Justin Bieber's "Baby." Tonight, the show went live for the first time, and the Top 17 performed. By the end of the night, each of the judges had chosen which 12 acts (three for each mentor) will perform for America's votes beginning next week.
Last time, it was 14-year-old Drew Ryniewicz performing "Baby," during her audition. You can check that out HERE. By the way, Drew is still in the competition and will be here next week. But she now just goes by Drew.
This time around, it's 13-year-old Rachel Crow. Her version was a mash-up of "Where Did Our Love Go" and "Baby." Check out her performance here: So, what'd you all think? Personally, I think Drew did a better job with her version. But she wasn't half bad either.
Next Wednesday (8-10pm), the Top 12 (including Rachel and Drew) will perform, and America will vote for the first time. There will be five ways to cast your vote; find out the details HERE.
At the start of this past week, "Mistletoe" was released. And now Beliebers everywhere will have another early Christmas gift a week later when another song from Justin Bieber's Under The Mistletoe will premiere. And it involves a certain someone named Usher. Never heard of him; he must be a newcomer....Kidding.
On Monday, October 24 at 10am ET/7am PT, Usher will be on On Air with Ryan Seacrest to premiere his and Justin's duet, "The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting On An Open Fire)." You can listen to it live right HERE.
Even though that premiere is less than 48 hours away, I bet you can't even wait that long for a listen. The other day, I reported that Justin's Under The Mistletoe single will be "Mistletoe," which would be released on October 18. We're two and a half weeks before that release, but at a recent concert stop, Justin performed "Mistletoe" live for the first time, which means we're getting our very first listen ever of the song.

During Monday night's episode, each group performed two songs, Current Hits and 1960's Favorites. For Vocal Point's Current Hits song, they went with Justin Bieber's "Never Say Never."

The past couple of weeks have seen the audition episodes of the American version of Simon Cowell's The X Factor air on FOX. During tonight's Chicago/Seattle audition episode (Sept. 28), one of the auditioners took on a song that we all are familiar with.
Check it out right here: 14-year-old Drew Ryniewicz is a huge, huge, huge Justin Bieber fan. She would love to meet him and perform with him someday. And she was nervous about performing in front of L.A. Reid, since L.A. is the one who signed Justin to a recording contract. Talk about pressure, right?
But that's not necessarily why I'm talking about her. I wouldn't normally post a video here on Bieber Guy of someone doing a cover of one of Justin's songs. But I watch and am a fan of The X Factor (& Simon Cowell). And what I love on any of these singing shows, whether it's American Idol (see Chris Daughtry and David Cook, among others), The X Factor (Caitlin Koch and Drew, during these auditions), or others, is when a singer will get up there and blow us away not just with the voice, but by putting a new spin and arrangement on a song we all know and love.
Out of the better singers during these X Factor auditions so far, we've had two already change up the arrangement. Drew Ryniewicz took Justin Bieber's "Baby" and breathed new life into an already great song. And what's interesting is that I love both Justin and Drew's versions. The original is teen pop, whereas Drew's strips it down and gives an acoustic rendition that's great as well. She's got an interesting tone to her voice. When she gets to the chorus, we all expect the music to ramp up. Instead, it stays slow. And on the words "baby," instead of the vocal emphasis being on the start of the word, Drew has done the opposite; she emphasizes the latter part of the word.
Oh, and by the way, the judges sent her to the next round: Boot Camp.

The final audition episode of The X Factor airs Thursday, September 29, from 8-10pm on FOX.
Lil Wayne celebrated his 29th birthday yesterday, on September 27. And to honor his birthday, Justin Bieber sang a cover of Lil Wayne's hit, "How To Love." He tweeted a link to the YouTube clip in the middle of the night, saying he couldn't get to sleep:

I'm not generally a fan of rap. And I'm definitely not a fan of Lil Wayne overusing Auto-Tune in his version. But Justin did a fairly good job. No Auto-Tune. Just simply done.
At a recent Taylor Swift concert at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, she surprised her fans when Justin Bieber showed up. They took to the stage to perform Bieber's hit "Baby" together.
Check out the video below. The audio quality isn't the best, but you can tell that Bieber, Swift and the audience were all having a blast.
