Justin Bieber Unplugged Acoustic Album release date revealed!

The Justin Bieber Unplugged Acoustic album release date has been revealed. Not only has Bieber launched his own singing doll but he recently launched his autobiography First Step 2 Forever and will be soon be premiering his movie Never Say Never. And if that wasn’t enough, the Biebs will be releasing his acoustic album, a nail polish line and a new fragrance line.

Will you be buying the Justin Bieber Unplugged acoustic album? Bieber announced the project via his Twitter account confirming the release date of his new album. And per usual, I am sure Bieber fanatics are going into hysterics.

Justin tweets, “On November 23rd the Unplugged Acoustic album comes out! Taking it back to how we started.”

Not a whole lot of information has been released about this new album, but what we do know is that the album is going to include a stripped-down versions of his previous stuff. In addition to the old material, Bieber will be releasing a brand new song that he created in Hawaii, a holiday song of sorts is what the rumor on that track is.

Oh you Bieber fans will have many items to put on your holiday wish list! A book, a doll, nail polish, a recently announced fragrance line and a new album! Talk about being spoiled!

Justin also just recently had an interview with Extra TV and talked relationships. No, he didn’t mention Jasmine Villegas, but he did say this: “No, I think that whatever happens, happens. I’m not afraid to tell the truth.” Well hopefully he comes clean on his rumored relations with Miss Villegas! I know there are teen girls all around the world wondering the same thing!

What do you think of the Justin Bieber Unplugged acoustic album?

Kanye West, Justin Bieber Fans Split On 'Runaway Love' Remix

74536644900340794103.jpg

Kanye West forced fanbases to collide on Monday, when he released his Justin Bieber "Runaway Love" remix, which also features Raekwon.

What began as a mere social-networking brainstorm both utilizes the contemporary pop-chart topping talents of both West and the Biebs and incorporates some of Raekwon's vintage verses from "Wu-Tang Clan Ain't Nuthing Ta F--- Wit." So how do loyal fans react when a teen pop sensation, a master producer-turned-rapper and a hip-hop legend combine forces?

For the answers, we've looked across different blogs and MTVNews.com to see fan comments and reactions to the new record. While the remix seemed acceptable to most listeners, others thought the blend of Bieber with the two MCs went together like oil and water.

McShanful wrote on the hip-hop blog 2dopeboyz.com: "I thought this turned out pretty dope. But judging by the comments, this remix is a fail because Wu-Tang fans don't want to hear JB on a classic beat. And JB fans don't know or even care who Raekwon is, nor do they appreciate this classic beat. Nice try, 'Ye."

Readers on both pop and hip-hop websites couldn't see the benefit of including Bieber's song in the collaboration, stating that the current prince of bubblegum pop discredited the rappers' integrity.

"I'm a hard-core fan of Kanye's earlier music, but now I honestly think he will do anything if it gives him some fraction of publicity or money," Leni wrote on JustJared.com. "Justin Bieber? I mean really?"

Legacye wrote on on PerezHilton.com: "Oh ... dear ... lord. That was awful. Kanye's part of the track sounded fine, but Justin's music is just TOO tweeny-pop to fit in well with adult R and B. 1/5 from me."

And though Bieber's collaboration with Ludacris on "Baby" has been a huge hit with his followers, some were less than pleased by this much this harder-edged track.

"OMG !! That is just horrible," KT wrote on on Popeater.com. "Justin is the only good thing on the song, but you have to sit thru that no talent thug mumbling and talking his way thru the verses before Justin sprinkles his magic on the song. PLEASE Justin don't team up with these no talent thug rappers because your management says so. All it shows is how much talent you have and how little talent the rappers have. No wonder they all want a piece of Justin's genius. YAYYY JUSTIN!!"

But other fans were supportive of the boundary-breaking trio.

"The song actually wasn't that bad, and as much as I hate to say it, Bieber sounded a little like Michael Jackson," Ericarbo436 wrote on MTVNews.com.

"A young youth, rockin' the gold tooth!" Börte Petrarchia wrote on PerezHilton.com. "What a great collaboration that was. I think some were uneasy about it when they first heard, but I wasn't. F--- this elitist bullsh-- about who should work with who in music. It's all about creating wonderful tracks, and this is fantastic. Kanye's back, better than ever, so I'm happy."

Rwar wrote on 2dopeboyz.com: "So good I had to post twice. Can we collectively acknowledge how important Kanye West is to music? Who else could make this happen?"

What do you think of the "Runaway Love" remix? Keep the conversation going in the comments below!

Best Buy, Grammy Foundation and Justin Bieber Partner to Provide Concert to Band Camp Students at Orlando, Florida High School

Best Buy Mobile, the mobile specialty retail unit of Best Buy Co., announced it has partnered with the Grammy Foundation to surprise a group of Seminole High School summer band camp students with a special appearance from Island Def Jam Records pop/R&B singer Justin Bieber.
In celebration of Best Buy Mobile's milestone 100th store opening at nearby Seminole Towne Center Mall, Bieber surprised students when he appeared during an assembly in Sanford, Florida. Bieber's appearance included a special presentation of a $5,000 donation on behalf of Best Buy and the Grammy Foundation to Seminole High School in support of the school's music program.
The program expands on the Grammy Foundation's support of music education by leveraging Best Buy's philanthropic @15 platform and Best Buy Mobile resources. Through these efforts, the Best Buy Children's Foundation has pledged nearly $1 million in funds and in-kind services to at-risk music education programs in schools across the country.
"The students had no idea I was coming and it was fun to completely surprise them," said Justin Bieber. "I was excited about this opportunity to team up with Best Buy and the Grammy Foundation to raise awareness around the cause of funding music education programs in schools. I talked to students about pursuing their passion in music and encouraging them to keep doing what they're doing."
Bieber talked to the kids about the role music played in his life. The assembly also featured appearances by Best Buy Mobile President Shawn Score and Senior Executive Director of The Recording Academy, Florida Chapter, Neil Crilly on behalf of the Grammy Foundation. The $5,000 donation to Seminole High School will help fund its music education program.
The performance is a part of a week-long celebration for Best Buy Mobile in the Orlando area. Best Buy presented a $2,000 donation to a local charity in the Sanford area at the 100th store opening on August 4.

Justin Bieber Lines Up 'U Smile' As New Single

Justin Bieber is about to give his legion of devoted fans another reason to smile. The pop star says that the third single from his My World 2.0 will be the breezy "U Smile," a song that was originally slated for release earlier this year.
"It's OFFICIAL- 'U SMILE' is gonna be the New Single!! The song is dedicated to the fans so this one is for all of u!! Radio here we come!!" Bieber tweeted on Friday afternoon (August 6).
"U Smile," which has a retro Motown vibe, features the singer expressing his devotion to his sweetheart. " 'Cause my cards are on the table/ And I'm willing and I'm able/ But I fold to your wish/ Cause it's my command," he croons during the song's bridge.
The midtempo number was originally supposed to be released back in March but for some reason was held back by the release of the dance cut "Somebody to Love." Bieber had already started promotion for the song, even treating national television audiences to live performances of the trackon "American Idol" and "Saturday Night Live."
But if history repeats itself, there's a strong possibility that "U Smile" will earn the 16-year-old yet another hit. When the song was first digitally released on iTunes this past spring, it moved quickly up the chart.
The singer took to Twitter at the time to thank fans for the speedy accomplishment: "wrote this song for u guys, and now u are all helping it climb the TOP TEN of ITUNES... U SMILE is #10 already! thank u so much. Lets go #1!" he tweeted.
The Biebster spoke to MTV News in March about working on the track alongside songwriters Jerry Duplessis, Arden Altino and Dan August Rig. "I worked with August. I got him. He's a really good writer," the singer said of his collaborator. "The song is amazing. We really love the song, so we decided to cut it. It's really amazing."
What do you think, Bieber fans? Do you like "U Smile" for his next single? Tell us in the comments!

Will Justin Bieber's Fame Equal Box Office Success?

The big news out of Hollywood this past week is that Justin Bieber, he of the flash Bieber mobs, he of the delightfully tousled bangs, he who is constantly being searched on Google by legions of lovesick teenage girls is going to be coming soon to a movie theater near you....in 3-D.
The film will be a concert biopic with behind the scenes footage of Bieber's life. Millions upon millions of fans devour any Bieber footage that YouTube has to offer. The question is will those fans pay the nearly $20 admission for a 3-D movie?

A similar project, 'Jonas Bros: The 3D Concert Experience' was a bit of a letdown, bringing in only $19 million at the box office.

But the Jonas Brothers, though themselves a teen sensation, are not Bieber. Girls aren't being trampled in Jonas flash mobs, so make the comparisons all you like, the audience for Bieber is much more fiercely loyal. Come February 2011, I am willing to bet they will be lining up in droves to get some Bieber smack in their face.

"Given Justin's track record with album and ticket sales so far, his movie should be a hit. First of all, the timing is great -- this year's 'Valentine's Day' movie featuring Taylor Swift topped the box office over the Valentine's Day holiday weekend The only potential weakness is that Justin's acting abilities are still untested, but that won't keep his fans away from theaters, especially when they'll have the chance to watch him in 3D for about two hours," says Billboard.com News Editor Monica Herrera

Blogger and Bieber fan Micah Jesse agrees.

"Everything Justin Bieber touches turns to gold, and while he's building an empire, fans everywhere will have the opportunity to reach out and touch him as well," Jesse said.

Sure the movie will be successful but is it the right longterm move for the Biebs? Doesn't smell just a little bit like that Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen vehicle, 'New York Minute.' Is it just too darned cute?

Maybe. But cute is fine for Bieber right about now. He isn't making that teen to adult transition for another couple of years, at which point he will need to start focusing on more serious fare if he wants to have the career arc of say a Ryan Gosling (former Mousketeer) or a Justin Timberlake (fellow Mouseketeer) instead of a Dustin Diamond (child star turned porn actor).

In a couple of years the elves responsible for crafting Bieber's image will need to sit him down and ask him who he wants to be. And a big part of that transition might just be taking some time off. Nothing allows a teen star to reinvent themselves like heading off to college for four years and reemerging as an adult, especially a teen star with a following like the Biebs that is going to have a hard time letting go of the boy to embrace the man.

But in the meantime, a concert biopic is a great way for Bieber to start moving his image on to multimedia platforms and extending his brand. No doubt it will be a money-maker. $20 may seem steep but it's about one fifth the price of concert admission and it will practically put the Biebs in your lap.

Justin Bieber: I Told You I Was Bad!

That Justin Bieber landed a role for himself in CSI is an old news. Now Justin had posted a picture of himself in a prison jumpsuit with his hands behind his back. He also put a caption and it read in part that: “I told you I was a BAD MAN!!”

It has been reported that Justin will be playing the role of a troubled youth in the serial whose life gets topsy turvy after he takes one wrong decision with regard to his only brother.

Well it’s really nice to see that Justin ended up a role in this popular series but still the news made us think whether Justin’s inclusion is unfair to actors who have been struggling for years to get that one lucky break.

The fact remains that Justin is primarily known for his singing skills and let’s be honest about the fact that he got a chance in CSI only because he is a famous face. So does this means that some other talented actor has been deprived from showing off his skills? We think yes, to certain extent.

But at the same time it might turn out that Justin Bieber has got some damn good acting chops and then people might stop bashing him up.

Justin Bieber and Old Spice Campaign hot on YouTube

In one of the largest viral video ad campaign ever launched, Old Spice is swarming YouTube.
The Procter & Gamble Co. brand released more than 180 videos featuring the campaign’s star, ex-football player Isaiah Mustafa (moo-STAH’-fah). In the videos, he responds personally to online queries or comments from various Web users and some famous ones, including Ellen DeGeneres and Alyssa Milano.
The videos, all of which feature Mustafa in a towel speaking directly to the camera, have been steadily released over the last few days. On Friday, they accounted for eight of the most popular 11 videos on YouTube and more than 21 million views in total.

The “Smell Like a Man” ad campaign was launched earlier this year by Portland, Ore.-based ad agency Wieden+Kennedy. The television spots have been popular and the first TV spot won a Cannes advertising festival award.
Likewise, Justin Bieber’s music video for “Baby” has taken off on the Web and is the most-watched video ever on YouTube.
The 16-year-old pop star’s video passed Lady Gaga’s “Bad Romance” video to take the all-time lead. More than 246 million have watched Bieber’s video on the Google Inc.-owned website.
Bieber tweeted a thank you to “Beliebers” and said the video’s success was “crazy.” The singer wrote: “I started on youtube so ... WOW!”
Bieber’s video and Lady Gaga’s switched positions briefly Friday, but as of late afternoon, Bieber was ahead by more than 600,000 views.
The most-watched clip on YouTube that isn’t a music video is the popular “Charlie bit my finger” viral video, which more than 210 million have watched.

Justin Bieber and 'Twilight' soundtrack hold strong in top 10 of Billboard 200 chart

Eminem managed to snag the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 chart again this week but Justin Bieber and "Twilight" made an honorable showing in the top 10.
According to Billboard.com, Justin's "My World 2.0" album landed the No. 5 spot for a second consecutive week. Although his album sales dropped by 5%, he still wrangled in an additional 41,000 sales since last week.
"The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" dropped down six rungs to the No. 10 position after sitting in the top half of the chart for several weeks. The album faced a substantial dip in sales, plummeting by 37%. Total sales for the week totaled 28,000.
Do you think "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" can hang in the top 10 next week or has the hype from the movie premiere died down? Where will Justin land next week?

Justin Bieber Performs “Omaha Mall” Live

While Justin Bieber has made the comment that he thinks it’s funny that people think “Omaha Mall” is a real song and that he did it just for fun, the amount of people who not only love the song, but know the lyrics is astounding – to the point where Justin should have just released it as a bonus single to iTunes – we would have bought it!
Justin even took to the stage at one of his recent concerts to perform the uber catchy song for the crowd. Watch below and then let us know what you think of Justin’s song “Omaha Mall.”

Selena Gomez Dreams Of A Duet With Justin Bieber

Justin Bieber has said in the past that he wants to do a duet with Selena Gomez, but many have wondered if she would. Well, she gave an answer to M magazine recently. Here is what she had to say about it.
I would love that! Yeah, I’ll probably ask him if he wants to. He’s really busy, especially since he’s on tour, which I totally understand. I love that kid so much. He has definitely been an inspiration to me in many ways.
Justin has become one of my best friends. So doing a duet together would be a dream come true for both of us. I think it would be so much fun, hopefully it will happen!
I think it would be interesting to hear a duet between them, though I do find their styles to be vastly different. Justin Bieber does more pop/R&B and Selena Gomez does more dance type of music. Though I suppose it would be a unique song, which could boost their careers. I just hope that they would not get trapped in a certain style of music.
Do not forget to read about Selena Gomez’s latest single that is being remixed. You can also hear Justin Bieber’s fun little song calledOmaha Mall. Now back to the topic, do you think Justin and Selena should do a duet?

Justin Bieber shows some love for MTV series

Teen singing sensation Justin Bieber receives a great bit of publicity thanks to MTV, so it only seems appropriate that he would show them some love in return.
With that in mind, Justin was kind enough Monday to post some love on his Twitterpage for the network's live action series "The Hard Times of RJ Berger", which could otherwise be referred to as "Superbad Light":
"Just met the guys who created that new show on @MTV's "The Hard Times of#RJBerger "- good dudes. Shows on tonight at 10pm. Funny stuff"
In addition to having all of his music videos air on MTV, Bieber also had a special air on the network earlier this year entitled "The Diary of Justin Bieber".

Justin Bieber sings to stuffed animals

You know why I like Justin Bieber is because not only can he sing, but he is darn funny and smooth as well.  If he can keep this going he will be the next Will Smith.  There I said it.  Anyway Justin does a spoof type video with his friends because his fans always ask him what he does with the stuffed animals he gets at concerts.
