Main Street In Forney Renamed Justin Bieber Way - 33 KDAF-TV

<div id="story-body-text" readability="83"> <p>FORNEY, Texas— </p> You could say Justin Bieber has it all. Millions of fans, chart topping hits and even a section on Wikipedia about his hair. Now, thanks to one North Texas tween, he also has a street named after him.<p>Forney, Texas is the textbook definition of small town America, and no small town is complete without a Main Street; one lined with classic style buildings, a quaint City Hall and shaded sidewalks.</p><p>But Main Street entered into the 21^st century Tuesday, courtesy of 11-year-old Caroline Gonzalez.</p><p>"I just really like Justin Bieber and I thought it would be cool if we had a street in our town named after him," said Gonzalez.</p><p>Gonzalez won a Facebook contest by the city of Forney where she became mayor for a day.  As part of it, she got to rename this iconic Main Street of Forney to Justin Bieber Way.</p><p>"I thought it was pretty cool and if Justin Bieber was actually here, I'd probably faint," Gonzalez told The 33 News.</p><p>The mayor of Forney the other 364 days a year, Darren Rozell, admitted under his administration, Main Street would have remained Main Street.</p><p>"I can't really say that I know a lot of Justin Bieber's music, but I know that he's really popular these days, and if she wanted to name it Bieber Way, we were going to make that happen," said Rozell.</p><p>While Justin Bieber way will return back to Main Street Wednesday, and Forney will return back to the definition of small town America, Bieber Fever might strike again at any time.</p><p>"I'll tell you this: If Justin Bieber sees this and wants to come to Forney, he's got an open invitation," said Rozell. </p></div>
