It's been a trying week for Justin Bieber. After criticizing the paparazzi in Israel on his Twitter account, he then vowed to take a break from tweeting so that he could vacation with his family before his performance there on Thursday. Let's not forget he had to cancel his meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as well.

But on Thursday Bieber finally hit the stage without a hitch. 'Well hello there,' he tweeted before he took the stage at Tel Aviv's Hayarkon Park. 'Time to do what i love best ... perform for the fans. Israel ... its almost time. #myworldtour.'

According to a concert review in The Hollywood Reporter, Bieber took the stage at 8:00 p.m. to play to an estimated 35,000 fans. While most of the show sounded like standard Bieber fare, at one point Bieber's music director, Dan Kanter, played the country's national anthem, 'Hatikva.' Bieber then played his inspirational track 'Pray,' and even paid homage to manager Scooter Braun's grandmother, a Holocaust survivor who was in the audience.

'It was perhaps the one awkward moment in the show, if only because the next line he uttered enthusiastically was, 'Who wants to be my 'Baby?!' ' the writer noted in her review.

After his show, he seemed as happy about the performance as his fans. 'AMAZING NIGHT ... AMAZING PLACE ... AMAZING SHOW!!' he tweeted. 'NEVER GOING TO FORGET THIS ONE. #BLESSED'

Next up Bieber takes his act to the Singapore Indoor Stadium. He has shows booked abroad through May.

Justin Bieber, Bruno Mars, Chris Colfer Make Time's 100 Most Influential List: "

Amy Poehler, Blake Lively, and Prince William and Kate Middleton also on the list.

What kind of list includes Justin Bieber alongside Vice President Joseph Biden, Prince William and Kate Middleton, and Oprah Winfrey? It must be Time magazine's list of the 100 most influential people in the world. The annual count of the people who, for better or worse, make our world fascinating, includes an essay by mentor Usher extolling the virtues of the Biebs.

'From the minute I met Justin, I knew this kid possessed a certain confidence that only a star could have,' wrote Usher. 'He was born a star. He knew what he wanted to accomplish; all he had to do was get everyone else to believe it. Now, looking back at his incredible run, the reality of who he is and what he's accomplished far exceeds anybody's expectations of him. What's interesting and will keep the world watching is that at the same time he's having this incredible success, he's like any other kid living a normal life.'

In his typically impish style, "Parks & Recreation" co-star and comedian Aziz Ansari spent most of his 150 words in praise of series star and producer Amy Poehler, after complaining about an alleged real estate scam she pulled on him. 'That said, I cannot say how much I admire and respect Amy Poehler,' he wrote. 'In comedy, a lot of what you see feels derivative and uninspired; with Amy, 39, there is always something fresh and unexpected, and that's why I love her work.'

Director Baz Luhrmann marveled at actress Blake Lively for pulling off the unique trick of channeling the "vitality of youth — that indefinable, natural, unprocessed glamour full of possibility and filled with anticipation for an endless future."

Actress Glenn Close wrote of the talents of her 'Albert Nobbs' co-star Mia Wasikowska ('Alice in Wonderland,' 'The Kids Are All Right'), saying the 21-year-old is 'a sun, not a satellite. She generates her own energy. She's seductive because she's not compelled to reveal everything. Her shyness has made her an acute observer. At the same time, she loves a good joke, loves to laugh and can suddenly have the boisterous physicality of a teenager. Mia will be many things in life and will defy expectation because she's brilliant and curious and not fooled by what most people define as success.'

When it comes to 'Glee' star Chris Colfer, co-star Dianna Agron said the 20-year-old song-and-dance man 'lives by extreme truth, speaking out against the epidemic of bullying that he, too, faced in high school. The honesty that he infuses into his 'Glee' character, Kurt, leaves you reeling.' Elsewhere, B.o.B writes of his pal Bruno Mars, 25, that the singer/songwriter 'has a musicality, a presence in his voice that I've never heard from anyone else.'

Among the others making the list were Google executive Wael Ghonim, credited with being the voice of the revolution in Egypt; Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg; WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange; Congresswoman and shooting victim Gabrielle Giffords; Sting; and President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama. For the third year, South Korean pop superstar Rain made it onto the list as the result of a reader's poll.

Although names like Bruno Mars and Oprah Winfrey made the final cut on this year's Time 100 list of the world's most-influential people, among the celebs MTV News spoke to at the ritzy black-tie gala in New York on Tuesday night, all the talk was about Justin Bieber and 'Parks and Recreation' funny lady Amy Poehler.

La La Vazquez, with hubby Carmelo Anthony, by her side, said, 'Justin Bieber actually loves 'Melo. They're still waiting to have a one-on-one basketball competition so maybe we can make that happen this summer.' She continued, 'I think it's an honor to be included in such an elite group and be invited to come celebrate. When I heard we got invited, I was like, 'Oh yes, we are going to this event tonight.' '

The Roots' drummer, Questlove, said he totally understands why the Biebs made the list. "I'm excited to see everybody tonight," he said. "I'm very humble to be here. It's too many to mention. I drummed with Bieber before. I think that there might have been a question to why he was included, but it's obvious this is a person that went from YouTube sensation to viral sensation to international superstar — that's gonna be the next level of celebrity."

Leave it to Poehler's 'Parks and Rec' co-star Aziz Ansari to write in his own candidate. Asked whether he prefers Bieber or South Korean pop star turned actor Rain, who also made the list, Ansari joked, 'I don't know who either of those people are.' Adding, 'The most influential person to me is probably Waka Flocka Flame. He's on the list, right? I'm pretty sure he was on there.'

All jokes aside, Ansari had only love for Poehler. calling her a 'very inspirational person; tremendously talented and really a leader in her field.'

Poehler's former 'Saturday Night Live' co-star Seth Meyers also had tons of love for her. 'For me personally, Amy Poehler's the most influential on the list,' he said. 'I certainly wouldn't be invited to this without Amy Poehler, so that's a big step. Mostly just like providing coattails for me to ride on for years,' he joked. 'That's pretty key; that influenced me a lot.'

About Bieber, Meyers later added: 'I quote him a lot. I say 'Baby, baby, baby' a lot more than I used to. I work in a maternity ward in my off-time.'

Justin Bieber To Co-Star With Mark Wahlberg In Street Ball Movie

Justin Bieber To Co-Star With Mark Wahlberg In Street Ball Movie: "

Justin Bieber already has one of the top-grossing documentaries of all time with 'Never Say Never.' And he's gotten his feet wet doing a little acting on 'CSI.' So it just stands to reason that his next move is to full-on star in a movie, right?

Enter superfan Mark Wahlberg, who knows a thing or two about making the transition from teenybopper pinup to movie-opening star. Wahlberg — who in August said, "the world needs Justin Bieber ... Justin Bieber is like the white Tupac" — told New York magazine this week, 'Justin Bieber and I are going to do a movie together.'

That's right. Wahlberg said he's in talks with Paramount on the project and hopes to set the film up at the studio following his Academy Award-winning flick 'The Fighter.' But most importantly, Bieber is reportedly way into it and is excited to sign on for the project. 'He loves the idea,' Wahlberg said. 'He's been sending me video, he sent me a video of himself, and, yeah, I think he's really talented.'

Wahlberg described the movie as a drama in which he would play a 'reluctant mentor in an inner-city environment,' but cautioned that neither he nor Bieber will sing or dance in the film. In fact, last August Wahlberg said he wouldn't break his nearly two-decade-long hip-hop silence ... unless Bieber asked him to.

Deadline Hollywood reported that the untitled drama is an exploration of street basketball in which Bieber will get a chance to show off his dramatic chops. Wahlberg and partner Stephen Levinson will produce alongside Bieber's manager, Scooter Braun. The script is being written by Ian Edelman, creator of HBO's 'How to Make It in America.'

'The tone of the project is described as 'The Color of Money' meets 'The Karate Kid,' and it came out of Wahlberg and Levinson seeing Bieber play ball in February during a celebrity game held during NBA All-Star Game weekend,' Deadline reported.

Bieber has clearly been bitten by the acting bug. In September he raved about his guest appearance on 'CSI' as Jason McCann. 'I liked it because you never knew what was going to happen. Now that I'm on it, it's pretty cool,' he said of the show. 'It opens a different audience to the show,' he explained of his appearances, 'and it also helps me because a new audience that might not know me is now going to see me. So it works both ways.'

Selena Gomez On Relationship With Justin Bieber: 'I Don't Like Hiding': "

'I'm 18, and I'm going to fall in love,' actress tells Seventeen magazine.

Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber certainly aren't shy about their relationship. And the normally relationship-coy actress admits that she's feeling comfortable being open about her feelings for the teen superstar.

'I don't like hiding. I do like to keep certain things to myself, but at the end of the day, I'm 18, and I'm going to fall in love,' she tells Seventeen magazine. 'I'm going to hang out with people, and I'm going to explore myself, and I'm OK with that.'

Although it seems that Bieber's fans have chilled out recently, Beliebers had a bit of a fit when the pair first started dating. Gomez said she understands how it feels to be a fan with a crush. 'Are you kidding me? I'm still thinking Zac Efron's my husband,' she said.
Reminded that Efron's now single, she added, 'No, I wouldn't touch that. I love [his ex-girlfriend] Vanessa [Hudgens] way too much.'

Regarding Bieber's fans, Gomez said, 'I do see the passion that a lot of these girls have, and it's beautiful. I love it. I really do. It's special.'

Gomez has been very supportive of fellow Disney star Demi Lovato, who has been open about her personal issues including eating disorders and self-mutilation. "There's an amount of love that can never — no matter what — be taken away or torn apart, no matter the situation," Gomez said. "There are certain people who you will always, always love, so if anything, this just reminded me of how much I truly love her."

The former 'Wizards of Waverly Place' star has always been close to many of her other Hollywood peers as well. She said she'd love to go on a 'Monte Carlo'-inspired vacation with one of those A-listers in particular. 'I'd love to go on vacation with Taylor [Swift]. I've been able to fly to Nashville to see her, and she'll come to L.A. a lot, but it'd be nice to get away.
It would be really fun,' she said. 'I've known Taylor for over three years now, so we're at the point where we just get each other.'

Of the relationships in her life, Gomez added, 'I've gotten to the point where the label of 'best friend' is so ridiculous. If you have three people in your life that you can trust, you can consider yourself the luckiest person in the whole world.

"I have a lot of wonderful people in my life — probably five, collectively — who I can tell everything to. There's Jennifer [Stone], my friend Ashley, and Taylor, and my two cousins."

Chris Brown Takes Stage With Justin Bieber In Australia

Chris Brown Takes Stage With Justin Bieber In Australia: "

Rumors abounded in recent days that Justin Bieber would be canceling a scheduled Australian gig because of a back injury. Not only did Bieber not cancel his Thursday (April 28) show in Sydney, he even brought a special guest to the gig.

'I don't cancel ... In route to Sydney!! THE SHOW IS ON!! I don't let my fans down! LEGGO!! #myworldtour,' he wrote on Twitter before the gig. 'Sydney ... Leggo! #myworldtour'

Hours later, Bieber and his crew revealed to fans who couldn't be at the show that his 'Up' remix partner, Chris Brown, had taken the stage with him Down Under. '@JustinBieber and @ChrisBrown just tore the stage down. INSANE. #MyWorldTour,' music video director and Bieber insider Alfredo Flores tweeted. Fans then began to weigh in on the pairing, causing Bieber to retweet their kind praise for the performance.

"I feel bad for that stage cause I just heard @justinbieber & @chrisbrown just killed the stage! LOOK AT ME NOW!" AlexisDanielle6 wrote.

Another Belieber, annargh, added, '@JustinBieber that was the most amazing concert I've ever been to! You are so talented! THANK YOU FOR SHARING IT WITH US.'

Bieber's manager, Scooter Braun, even tweeted a picture of the two performing together, writing, 'Look At Them Now! @justinbieber and @chrisbrown 2nite in SYDNEY ... KILL'T IT!'

Bieber obviously had the final say, writing, 'And they thought we might cancel tonight. Look at Me Now! I love Australia! #SWAG.'

According to a report in The Daily Telegraph, the crowd of nearly 16,000 girls went mad as Bieber played on the latest stop on his My World tour at the Acer Arena. "By the time the countdown clock announced the arrival of the 17-year-old superstar, you would have thought these over-excited, sugar-fueled kids would be ready to relax and enjoy the show," the review noted. "Nope, they blew the decibel reader into the red — reaching 110 decibels between songs — the equivalent of a chainsaw. Ear plugs were a matter of survival."
